For those who don't know me, I'm organised and love to have a process to streamline how I work. I believe that having the correct design process in place, step by step guidelines will help you achieve the greatest outcome for your business.
I use the process below in all my design work, whether creating a new brand, website, posters or leaflets.
The process
Who are the target audience - discuss, refine and choose your target audience. This is important! You need to reach the right customers.
Business questions - collect and collate information on your company, your objectives, goals and beliefs.
Mood boards/colour palletes - using this information I will create mood boards to capture the ideas that will help build the design in the concept stage. Create colour palletes that will help create the perfect feel for your design.
External inspiration - utilise other designers or artists for inspriation, always have your eyes open, some of my best ideas come to me when I'm out walking my dogs, out on my mountain bike or doing laps in the pool.
The concepts - the previous steps will be used to create design concepts that will fulfil the breif set out, you will then choose a concept to follow through to completion.
Final design - the final design will then be created and the job will be followed through to completion, whether that the delivery of posters or the making live of a website.
Review/testimonial - This is the final stage of the process, where I will ask you, the very happy customer to write a review for me, which will be 5*
Thank you for taking the time to read through my latest post.
If you need to discuss anything design related, please get in touch.
Or you can adapt and use this process when creating your own designs for your brand, social media adverts or websites
